On 1 May 2017 I started a new project called 365 Horse Portraits in 365 Days. This
is a challenge to myself.
I’ve needed to draw a painting every day.
I use canvases (15 x 15 cm) and oil paints.
Horses...
Why horses?
Because I care for these animals.
They are beautiful, graceful, intelligent and incredible.
But they are not always treated well. Some owners are cruel; they exhaust them, beat or train them out of their age group.
I want this to stop.
This project is an attempt to draw people’s attention and teach love to these animals.
I have been drawing horses of real people, bloggers, trainers who take care of them,
love and cherish. Such people sparked this idea in me.
After the project end, 1 May this year, all the small paintings will combine into a large
painting – a mosaic, a horse portrait. And now I need your help to make my
dream come True.
I would like to publish an illustrated book about this project with the pictures of all
365 paintings.
This will be an amazing hardcover book with bright and colourful pictures.
We have been taking photos of the pictures day by day and developing a draft design.
We need your help and support to collect money for further promotion.
